Rehearsal

Everyone is welcome to come to a rehearsal and we don’t hold any auditions. If you know which part you sing (soprano, alto, tenor or bass) you can join that section or feel free to move around to find your fit. Our Musical Director Chris (he/him) would also be really happy to help on this front if needed. Voice part is based upon your voice range and not based upon your gender.

We offer two free rehearsals so people can get a feel for the choir before signing up as a regular member. If you do want to sign up it’s £22 a month as a regular subscription. We also ask for a one off £22 deposit for sheet music, which you get back on return of your music if you decide to leave TVGC.

There is free parking on site if you drive, space to lock up a bike and bus routes into Caversham. The rehearsal venue has gender neutral toilets and is wheelchair accessible. We ask that you share in our values and support us in fostering a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA community.

We often head to a pub afterwards for a drink and a catch up.
